Reuniendo más de 150 obras de arte, muchas de ellas exhibidas por primera vez en el Reino Unido, esta importante exposición recorre la influyente práctica artística de Beatriz González desde la década de 1960 hasta la actualidad.

Las pinturas de Hulda Guzmán abren portales hacia mundos vibrantes y oníricos, donde la artista, su familia, animales y seres míticos conviven en estrecho diálogo con la naturaleza. Abarcando una década de trabajo e incluyendo nuevas obras de gran formato, Turner Contemporary presenta la primera exposición institucional en Europa de la artista dominicana.

Julia Isidrez, 2026. Nottingham Contemporary will present the first international institutional solo exhibition of the Guaraní artist and ceramicist Julia Isídrez (b.1967, Paraguay), whose clay sculptures trouble and enlighten many issues that define cultural debate today – from indigeneity and identity politics to craft. Rooted in the ceramic traditions passed down through generations of women in Itá, Isídrez learned the craft from her mother Juana Marta Rodas, working with local clay and long-standing Guaraní techniques that were gradually adapted over time. In contrast to these traditional techniques, the subject matter of her works is anything but conventional: hybrid dinosaur-like figures and multi-headed spherical amphibians populate her sculptures. These fantastical creatures are chimeras, unattainable beings of Isídrez’s imagination, yet still resonant with popular traditions and folklore.

Lizi Sánchez, 2026. Lizi Sánchez nació en 1975 en Lima (Perú) y actualmente vive y trabaja en Londres. Su práctica artística se centra en el poder comunicativo del lenguaje. La fractura de distintos sistemas y códigos de comunicación es una preocupación constante en su obra. Sánchez explora cómo diferentes procesos, contextos e intenciones transforman el uso y el significado del lenguaje. Con frecuencia utiliza materiales provenientes del entorno cotidiano que le interesan tanto por sus connotaciones como por sus cualidades físicas, como el brillo, la maleabilidad, la translucidez o la ligereza.

"Faunal Succession", Lucía Pizzani, 2026

Venezuelan-born, London-based artist Lucía Pizzani presents her first institutional UK exhibition at Focal Point Gallery in Southend-on-Sea. Through a series of new installations and in collaboration with artists Cecilia Bonilla, Jaime Gili, Javier Weyler and local community groups and schools, Pizzani reimagines the Essex coast through a ‘deep time’ lens, linking geological transformation with contemporary questions of climate change, migration, and social transformation.
